Hey friend,

My name is Garrhet — I'm a photographer, writer, creative director, and (most importantly) a father based in the wilds of Montana.

Most of what you’ll find here started with a simple conviction: creative work needs more than inspiration. It needs a way to keep moving when life gets heavy.

And I don’t say that from a distance.

Years ago, my life changed almost overnight. I found myself rebuilding with two young boys, an old camera, a handful of creative skills, and a future I could no longer afford to leave up to chance.

There were bills to pay, mouths to feed, little shoes by the door, bottles drying by the sink, client work after bedtime, and two boys looking at me for steadiness when I did not always feel steady.

I didn’t need a business that made me look impressive online.

I needed work that could hold real life.

That season changed how I think about creativity, business, systems, and sustainability. It taught me that most creators are not building in perfect conditions. They're built in the margins — before work, after bedtime, between client calls, during uncertain seasons, with too many ideas open and not enough structure underneath them.

Maybe you know that feeling too.

Maybe your creative business feels scattered. Maybe your edits need a stronger through line. Maybe your pricing needs courage. Maybe your message is hard to explain. Maybe your schedule is full, but the work that matters most keeps getting pushed to the edges.

That’s why this site exists.

Not to give you more noise. To give you something actually useful.

A better starting point. A clearer framework. A stronger edit. A practical system. A field guide for the next step.

Because I know what it feels like to need the work to actually work.

I needed a business that could hold my real life.
